In the eleventh robbery, Uwe Böhnhardt attempted alone to rob the Sparkasse branch on Kosmonautenstraße in Zwickau. This robbery, too, was marked by massive violence against the staff. When a trainee at the bank tried to grab hold of him, Böhnhardt shot him in the abdomen, inflicting life-threatening and permanent injuries. Böhnhardt then fled without any loot.
