After the NSU exposed itself on 4 November 2011, „confession DVDs" were sent nationwide to, among others, Muslim and left-wing organisations. On 12 November 2011, a copy sent by post, addressed to the "Gruppe KAZ" (Kommunistische Arbeiterzeitung), landed in the letterbox of the then left-wing "Rotes Zentrum" at Reichstraße 8, on the corner of Schweppermannstraße, in Nuremberg's Nordstadt district. The left-wing meeting place had already been attacked several times by neo-Nazis beforehand. As far as is known, the perpetrators have not been caught to this day.
