Der Halitplatz in Kassel wurde am 1. Oktober 2012 zum Gedenken an Halit Yozgat eingeweiht, der am 6. April 2006 in seinem Internetcafé an der Holländischen Straße 82 vom NSU erschossen wurde.
Der Platz liegt rund 100 Meter vom Tatort entfernt; auch die dortige Straßenbahnhaltestelle wurde nach ihm benannt. Auf dem Platz steht eine Stele mit einer Gedenktafel, die die Namen der zehn vom NSU ermordeten Menschen trägt.

Halitplatz in Kassel was inaugurated on 1 October 2012 in memory of Halit Yozgat, who was shot dead by the NSU on 6 April 2006 in his internet café at Holländische Straße 82.
The square lies around 100 metres from the scene of the crime; the tram stop there was also named after him. On the square stands a stele bearing a memorial plaque with the names of the ten people murdered by the NSU.
